Released: 04/12/26
2026 reissue of Lucy Dacus’ acclaimed debut No Burden, originally released in 2016 on Richmond’s EggHunt Records. The album combines sharp lyrical observations, playful arrangements and instantly memorable hooks, anchored by Dacus’ self-assured songwriting. Recorded in a single day at Starstruck Studios in Nashville, it opens with the candid “I Don’t Wanna Be Funny Anymore”, setting the tone for a forthright, disarmingly catchy debut that explores femininity, youth and resisting expectations. LP includes download.
