Robin Pecknold’s A Very Lonely Solstice is a 13-track live album recorded solo at a Brooklyn church in December 2020. Originally a livestream on the winter solstice amid COVID-19 restrictions, it captures the isolation of 2020 with intimate acoustic versions of Fleet Foxes’ favorites from all four studio albums, plus covers of Nina Simone’s "In The Morning" and the traditional "Silver Dagger." The album offers a poignant, solitary reflection during a bleak time.
