Fenne Lily grew up in the English countryside after moving from London as a toddler. Homeschooled while traveling Europe in a bus with her family, she developed a love for music through her mother’s record collection, discovering artists like T-Rex, PJ Harvey, and Joni Mitchell. Her debut album On Hold, written in her teens as a form of emotional therapy, is a tender, introspective collection that gained a wide online following and led to tours with Lucy Dacus and Andy Shauf. Its re-release, Fenne says, is a meaningful tribute to the formative years and emotions that shaped her.
