Following their acclaimed 2021 double album Coral Island, The Coral announce Sea Of Mirrors, a surreal Italian spaghetti western soundtrack. Alongside Holy Joe’s Coral Island Medicine Show, released physically only, this marks two albums in one year. Inspired by vintage cinema and penned by keyboardist Nick Power, Sea Of Mirrors features 13 tracks blending psych-folk-pop-rock with cinematic flair. The single “Wild Bird,” enhanced by Sean O’Hagan’s strings, sets the tone for the band’s vivid, ambitious eleventh studio album.
