Gate Master and Count Vornok present a second volume of dark, ritualistic ceremonies, continuing along the one true path. Initial guitar and drum recordings were performed live by the shadows of six black-scented candles—crafted at England’s last witchcraft apothecary—at precise lunar phases in the Suffolk countryside, aiding evocation and enlightenment. These sessions revealed visions, most notably a wolf with burning eyes circling mankind. Chronicled over many nights in grimoires now sealed and hidden, the music transcends genre: they are simply vessels for the sounds that come across the void. Their master speaks, and they listen.
