The Moth is Devin Townsend’s decade-long orchestral, choral, and theatrical project, created with the North Netherlands Orchestra and choir. Townsend relearned composition and orchestration to write the score himself, assisted by Joseph Stevenson.
Recorded across more than ten countries with a global cast including Steve Vai and Anneke van Giersbergen, the work explores transformation, self-acceptance, and the courage to face discomfort.
