While She Sleeps find their usual scene overcrowded and uninspiring, so they drew from diverse, unconventional influences instead of typical metalcore. Each member brought vastly different inspirations—from Kendrick Lamar and Aphex Twin to Radiohead and Rammstein—resulting in a unique and satisfying sound.
