In late 2020, Amyl and The Sniffers recorded their sophomore album Comfort To Me with producer Dan Luscombe. Written during lockdown, the album draws on a heavier mix of influences—from classic rock (AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Motörhead) to modern hardcore and local heroes like Coloured Balls—while lyrically channelling Taylor’s rap idols and garage-band energy. Comfort To Me retains the band’s smart, fearless candour, now evolved into raw self-expression, defiant energy, and unapologetic vulnerability.
