Steve Harley's iconic album The Best Years Of Our Lives celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025 with an expanded 3-disc edition featuring a new 2025 stereo mix by Alan Parsons and a single LP version. After reforming as Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, the band produced their biggest hit, the million-selling anthem "Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me)." Produced by Parsons shortly after his work on Dark Side Of The Moon, the album blends prog, glam, and pop.
The set includes the new stereo mix, unreleased outtakes and rarities, plus a DVD with the Between The Lines documentary, rare live footage, fan interviews, promo videos, and a full Hammersmith Odeon concert audio. The package also features liner notes by Peter Doggett, band interviews, and unseen photos by Mick Rock and Michael Putland.
