Since forming in Toronto in 2015, Wine Lips have grown from a part-time garage rock project into one of the most exciting names on the international psych-punk scene. Led by vocalist and songwriter Cam Hilborn, the band quickly built a reputation through relentless touring and a string of acclaimed releases, including Stressor (2019), Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party (2021), and Super Mega Ultra (2024).
Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party proved to be a breakthrough, earning widespread critical acclaim, amassing more than 40 million Spotify streams, and spawning the hit "Eyes," which has featured in numerous TV series, films, and video games. Its success propelled the band to larger, sold-out venues around the world.
Recorded by Simon Larochette at The Sugar Shack, Super Mega Ultra continued that momentum with 12 explosive tracks, further cementing Wine Lips' reputation for delivering high-energy, fuzz-drenched psych-punk at its finest.
