Tenebre (1982), directed by Dario Argento, marks the last major collaboration with Goblin before a 20-year hiatus. Though credited to Simonetti, Pignatelli, and Morante, it’s considered a Goblin album. Reflecting Argento’s shift to a colder, harder Roman sound, the soundtrack blends rock and electronic music with synthesizers and samplers, replacing drums. A must-listen for horror and soundtrack fans.
