Röyksopp’s Profound Mysteries is an expansive conceptual project combining music, film, and visual art. Launched on January 1, 2022, it began with the short film (Nothing But) Ashes… and the track “The Ladder,” accompanied by visuals from artist Jonathan Zawada. Subsequent releases include The Downfall by Marc Reisbig and “Impossible” featuring Alison Goldfrapp, the first human voice on the project. All elements are accessible via the Profound Mysteries portal, with more chapters to come.
