Produced and mostly recorded in Los Angeles, the album marks a shift from his usual barn sessions. Featuring longtime drummer Dan Magnusson, plus guests Luther Dickinson and Malcolm Arison, the record was mixed by Vance Powell and Steve himself. It’s a vibrant, soulful antidote for turbulent times.
