Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) is the Eagles’ landmark 1976 compilation, featuring tracks from their first four albums. It was the first album ever certified Platinum by the RIAA and has since been certified 38× Platinum, making it the best-selling album of the 20th century in the U.S. The record topped the Billboard 200 for five weeks, spent 239 weeks on the chart, and was selected for preservation by the Library of Congress in 2017 for its cultural and historical significance.
