The second Eagles album found them continuing to develop the accessible country-flavoured pop rock that they distilled on their debut. A concept album built around the myth of the old west, this is Eagles still mining the blues and country influences, as evidenced on tracks such as 'Tequila Sunrise' and 'Outlaw Man', with great songwriting from JD Souther, Jackson Browne and of course Henley, Frey, and Leadon themselves.
