To mark the 30th anniversary of Up To Our Hips, The Charlatans release an expanded edition featuring the original album plus 10 bonus tracks of live sessions, rare mixes, and B-sides, curated by Tim Burgess. Pressed on petrol blue bio vinyl, it includes new artwork by Nik Void.
Released in 1994, the album marked a darker, organ-led shift influenced by Small Faces, the Beatles, Dylan, and David Lynch films, reflecting internal band stress. Known for their driving Hammond organs, Northern soul rhythms, and Tim Burgess’s distinctive vocals, The Charlatans have consistently charted since 1989, overcoming personal and professional hardships while releasing 13 albums and 22 top 40 singles.
