Following the well-received Wreckless Abandon (2020), it showcases a more intuitive, spontaneous band. After decades as Tom Petty’s partner and collaborator—without a solo deal—Campbell embraced singing and songwriting fully following Petty’s death in 2017, making the Dirty Knobs his creative outlet.
