Lifetime Friend, Little Richard’s final album, marked his 1986 return after a seven-year hiatus. Blending rock ’n’ roll with spiritual themes and an early rap feature, it includes the original “Great Gosh A’Mighty,” later re-recorded for Down and Out in Beverly Hills. Backed by a powerhouse band and produced by Stuart Colman, the album was a bold third comeback.
Now remastered and reissued on opaque turquoise vinyl with liner notes by Bill Dahl, Lifetime Friend stands as Little Richard’s final, fiery statement.
