Fallen is Burzum’s ninth studio album and the follow-up to 2010’s acclaimed Belus. Blending the sound and structure of Belus with the spirit of Det Som Engang Var, it delivers a more dynamic, hard-hitting and expansive sound while retaining Burzum’s distinctive melodic style. The album is more experimental and personal, exploring existential themes alongside its mythological undertones, with ambient passages opening and closing the record.
