Seefeel return with Sol.Hz, their first full-length album in fifteen years—a hazy, immersive set of fractured melodies and vaporous textures.
Often described as their “dub” album, it pairs cloud-like ambience with deep, cavernous bass and spatial effects that reshape the listener’s sense of time and sound. Mark Clifford’s production balances atmosphere with weight, while Sarah Peacock’s heavily processed vocals add a human warmth, weaving through delayed guitar loops and drifting melodies.
Long seen as existing between electronic and experimental guitar music, Seefeel were once overlooked for not fitting neatly into either scene. In hindsight, that genre-blurring approach feels ahead of its time, influencing artists like Maria Somerville and Yu Su. With Sol.Hz, they return sounding as forward-thinking as ever.
