Nils Frahm’s Solo album was released in celebration of the first-ever Piano Day, a concept he launched with friends to honour the instrument he’s built his career around. Recorded in one sitting on the towering Klavins 450—the tallest piano in the world—Solo features eight improvised pieces showcasing Frahm’s intimate and expansive style. The album also supports the Klavins 450 project, a dream realized for piano builder David Klavins.
