Mark Peters’ second solo album, Red Sunset Dreams, follows his acclaimed debut Innerland. Featuring guests like Dot Allison and BJ Cole, the album explores an imaginary landscape inspired by Americana through a UK lens. Blending ambient Americana and classic country-rock, it evokes old Western movies and themes of isolation, freedom, and memory. Building on Innerland’s sound, it draws comparisons to Acetone, Phil Manzanera, and David Sylvian. Peters has also collaborated with Ulrich Schnauss and worked on reissues with his band Engineers.
