In 1972, Robert Fripp and Brian Eno first collaborated while working on sessions for Robert Wyatt, resulting in “The Heavenly Music Corporation,” a 21-minute piece that became a landmark of electronic music. A second track, “Swastika Girls,” was recorded in 1973, its title inspired by studio imagery and Fripp’s mantra “No Pussyfooting,” a refusal to compromise despite industry resistance.
Released in November 1973, the album sold over 100,000 copies, bringing experimental electronic music to a wide rock audience. This LP edition returns to 12" vinyl, newly cut from artist-approved masters, pressed on 200-gram heavyweight vinyl and housed in a reworked gatefold sleeve featuring variant photos from Willie Christie’s original shoot.
