Ugly Kid Joe, formed in 1989 as a spoof on Pretty Boy Floyd’s name, have released five studio albums, two compilations, and two EPs. Their biggest successes, As Ugly as They Wanna Be (1991) and America’s Least Wanted (1992), both went double platinum, with the former becoming the first EP ever to go platinum. They earned Reader’s Choice awards from Metal Edge and Raw, presented Metallica with the AMA Heavy Metal award in 1993, and were themselves nominated for Best New Artist. After disbanding in 1997, they reunited in 2010.

To mark the 30th anniversary of Menace to Sobriety (1995), Deko Entertainment is releasing a remastered, deluxe orange-splatter 45RPM double LP (limited to 500 copies), including “Slower Than Nowhere,” previously unavailable on the U.S. version.
