The 25th-anniversary edition of R.E.M.’s New Adventures in Hi-Fi revisits their 1996 album, the last with founding member Bill Berry. Produced with Scott Litt, it features experimental sounds, cinematic textures, and singles like “Electrolite” and “E-Bow the Letter” (feat. Patti Smith). Known for its haunting effects and long runtime, the album has gained cult status and is considered one of R.E.M.’s best works.
