Fugazi’s First Demo sees its first CD and vinyl release, now including the previously unreleased track “Turn Off Your Guns.” Recorded in January 1988 at Inner Ear Studio after just ten shows, the sessions captured the band in its earliest form—Guy Picciotto only sang lead on one track and hadn’t yet started playing guitar. Initially intended as a free cassette for fans, most songs evolved on tour, with only “In Defense of Humans” seeing an official release. Over 26 years later, Dischord presents the full demo on LP and CD.
