Yussef Dayes’ debut solo album Black Classical Music is out 24/5/24 as a deluxe box set featuring double tri-colour splatter vinyl with emerald felt lining, limited edition ProMark drumsticks, and a branded Afro comb. The 19-track record explores themes of home and family, influenced by Miles Davis, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, and Dayes’ global travels. Collaborators include Chronixx, Tom Misch, Shabaka Hutchings, and the Chineke! Orchestra.
