Written during a period of transition before her move to New York, the 13-track album blends swirling guitars, hazy vocals, and guest spots from Horse Jumper of Love’s Dimitri Giannopoulos and Tanukichan’s Hannah van Loon. Inspired by Mary Shelley, ’90s rom-coms, and touchstones like Sonic Youth and Elliott Smith, Adult Romantix captures the nostalgia, longing, and romance of change.
