Nonesuch’s deluxe edition of Wilco’s 2004 Grammy-winning A Ghost Is Born includes the original album, unreleased tracks, demos, a full 2004 concert, and a 48-page book. Praised for its eclectic sound, it won Best Alternative Album and Recording Package. Recorded mostly live in Chicago and finished in New York, the album blends songs and improvisations, reflecting the band’s evolving identity. It marked lineup changes and a turning point for Jeff Tweedy, capturing his personal growth. This was Wilco’s second Nonesuch release before starting their own label.
