Piroshka’s second album, Love Drips And Gathers, builds on the acclaim of their debut Brickbat and the members’ rich indie backgrounds. Vocalist Miki Berenyi describes it as more shoegaze-focused and thoughtful, contrasting the noisy, energetic Britpop style of their first album. Bassist Mick Conroy adds that the new record explores calmer sounds and spaciousness, marking a mature evolution for the band.
