OMD’s 1984 album Junk Culture has been remastered from original tapes and half-speed cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road. A more melodic follow-up to Dazzle Ships, it marked a commercial comeback, reaching the UK top 10 and featuring hits like “Locomotion,” “Talking Loud and Clear,” and “Tesla Girls.” Produced with Brian Tench and recorded at AIR Montserrat and Wisseloord, the album embraced new tech like the Fairlight CMI and remains a fan favourite.
