In 2020, longtime collaborators Devendra Banhart and Noah Georgeson created Refuge, an ambient album offering peace and renewal amid a chaotic world. Rooted in their shared 1980s New Age influences and decades of friendship, the album is a meditative musical dialogue. Inspired by past memories and present needs, Refuge provides a comforting space for listeners to find calm and pause from anxiety.
