Dehd kicks off 2024 with Poetry, their fifth album via Fat Possum Records. After the success of Blue Skies and “Bad Love,” the band wrote Poetry in inspiring locations—from a remote Earthship in New Mexico to a cabin by Puget Sound—before finalizing it in their longtime Chicago warehouse. Co-produced with Ziyad Asrar, the album offers classy garage rock fans vibes reminiscent of The Strokes, upbeat Velvet Underground, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Weezer.
