Gut is the new album from Ivor Novello-winning musician Daniel Blumberg—an unflinchingly raw and deeply personal work. Comprising six songs performed entirely by Blumberg, the album features a unique blend of soaring vocals, bass harmonica, ebass, synths, and electronic drums. Inspired by his battle with a chronic intestinal illness, Gut captures pain, resilience, and transformation in stark, skeletal ballads. It’s his third solo release on Mute, following Minus (2018), On&On (2020), and his award-winning film score for The World To Come.
