Craft Recordings reissues You Must Believe in Spring, Bill Evans’ 70th studio album, recorded in 1977 and released posthumously in 1981. Featuring his final trio with bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Eliot Zigmund, the album showcases Evans' lyrical compositions and intricate piano interplay. Highlights include "We Will Meet Again (for Harry)" and "B Minor Waltz (for Ellaine)," both deeply personal pieces. Recorded at Capitol Studios with producer Tommy LiPuma, the album blends introspective jazz with tender interpretations of songs like “Theme from MAS*H” and “Sometime Ago.” This reissue includes three bonus tracks, including a rare electric piano version of “Freddie Freeloader” and renditions of “All of You” and “Without a Song.”
