Bambara’s 2018 album Shadow On Everything is reissued on coloured vinyl for the first time. Marking a bold evolution for the twin brothers Reid (vocals/guitar) and Blaze Bateh (drums) and bassist William Brookshire, the album moved beyond their noise rock and post-punk roots into a faster, more experimental sound. Featuring Blaze’s intense drumming and William’s steady bass, Reid’s vocals take centre stage, portraying damaged characters and gritty settings across 12 tracks. The record blends violin, saxophone, and manipulated vocal loops, capturing a band pushing boundaries and redefining themselves before their intricate follow-up, Stray.
