Marking the close of Andy Bell’s Flicker era, this release compiles 16 tracks from his three recent EPs — I Am A Strange Loop, The Grounding Process, and Untitled Film Stills — featuring remixes, acoustic versions, and covers that inspired the album. The CD adds four previously unreleased tracks, including Bell’s fuzzed-out take on Yoko Ono’s “Listen, The Snow Is Falling,” endorsed by Ono herself, and the acclaimed Maps remix of “It Gets Easier.” With reworks by David Holmes, Richard Norris, bdrmm, and more, plus covers of The Kinks, Arthur Russell, and Pentangle, it’s a fitting finale to Bell’s Flicker journey.
