Italian musician and composer Alessandro Cortini returns with Nati Infiniti, released via Mute. A follow-up to 2021’s Scuro Chiaro, the 40-minute album is split into five movements and stems from an immersive audio installation first presented at Sónar Lisboa 2022 and later performed live at Berlin’s Atonal festival. Mixed by Grammy-nominated engineer Marta Salogni, the record features Cortini’s signature Strega synth, co-designed with Make Noise.
A long-standing Nine Inch Nails member and acclaimed solo artist, Cortini is known for his haunting, atmospheric electronic work and has collaborated with Lawrence English, Daniel Avery, and Merzbow. He is the only Italian musician inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
