A Certain Ratio’s EP:ACR unites their 2021 EP trilogy—ACR:EPA, ACR:EPC, and ACR:EPR—on CD for the first time. EPA, dedicated to Denise Johnson, features the band’s final recordings with her from an impromptu studio session. EPC is a collaboration with Andy Meecham, Maria Uzor, Jacknife Lee, and Chris Massey, honouring Andrew Weatherall. EPR, recorded with a “anything goes” approach, includes the two-part “$ouls In The City,” plus the infectious tracks “Night People,” “Big Boy Pants,” and the hypnotic “Downtime Vibes.”
