Planet Mu welcomes back Mike Paradinas (µ-Ziq) with Magic Pony Ride, his first new album on the label since 2013. Inspired by a trip riding Icelandic horses in Iceland, the album blends joyful, melodic jungle beats with lush synths and wordless vocals. Themes of family feature prominently, with contributions from his daughter Elka and a tribute to his late father. Magic Pony Ride serves as a stylistic follow-up to his 1997 breakthrough Lunatic Harness, tying into its 25th anniversary reissue.
