Originally released in 1988, the album saw the duo push the boundaries of analogue recording, painstakingly assembling individual performances using magnetic tape and razor blades to achieve their distinctive sound.

The album features contributions from Roger Troutman, Dan Huff and Miles Davis, whose trumpet appears on ‘Oh Patti (Don't Feel Sorry For Loverboy)’.
